Kali has donated to Locks of Love twice, and will probably be ready to again sometime before the year is over. I donated mine many years ago, and will be donating again sometime before the year is over.
Tia had never had a haircut until this past Saturday. I have to admit, it was mostly me. She had gorgeous hair, and the fact that we had never cut it, meant she was walking with original equipment...Hair that had been with her since she was born:( I have always said, to us it is just hair, if and when they want it cut, is up to them, and she had been getting the closer and closer. We even set up an appointment a month ago, but right after I scheduled, she back out...and I was so relieved:)

Saturday, with all of us, including Daddy, she did not back out. I got the bottom 2 inches for her baby book, and they cut another 10" to donate to Locks of Love
. My girls do not lack in the confidence department, and she already thought she was the cutest girl ever, but now...well let's just say, as far as she is concerned she tops the charts!!!! Her smile is as bright as it has ever been, now she just doesn't have to move her hair so you can see it.To top it off...My mother asked her what they did with all of her hair, to which she responded, " They took it from me to make wigs for little girls that don't have any hair, isn't that nice Grandma?" Too sweet, and really cute too!!!

I am impressed I still can't get Trinity to go get her hair cut.
